The Novatek Novair 700 is the compact negative-air / HEPA scrubber Germaphobix asked Novatek to start with: a rotomolded NAM for restoration containment and abatement techs who need 200–700 CFM on a 3-amp, 115 V circuit. Intake is 12 in, exhaust 10 in, for lay-flat or flex duct. Built-in GFCI, daisy-chain up to three units, stacking/nesting, tri-gasket HEPA seal, and a quick-release intake door are on that same catalog page. FAQs
How many amps, and can I daisy-chain it?
Novatek lists 3 A at 115 V / 60 Hz for F0700. The catalog says the Novair 700 can be daisy-chained up to three units, with a built-in GFCI for equipment up to 15 A. Size the circuit for the real load plus air movers and dehumidifiers on the same run.
What filters does it take?
Standard 16 × 16 × 3 in HEPA plus a 2 in pleated box or ring pre-filter. Novatek’s point is these are common sizes, not a proprietary cartridge. Replacement HEPA on their list is F4701 (16 × 16 × 3 mini-pleat).
Novair 700 vs the AlorAir 870 already on the site?
Different jobs. The PureAiro HEPA Pro 870 is a 270–550 CFM UV-C restoration scrubber at 2.5 A with a 16 in intake. The Novair 700 is a 200–700 CFM variable NAM at 3 A with 12/10 in duct collars and a standard 16 × 16 HEPA. Buy the 870 if you already run AlorAir duct and UV-C; buy the Novair 700 if you want the Novatek NAM footprint and published 700 CFM top end.
When do I step up to the 1000 or 2000?
Novair 1000 (F1000, list $1,075) is 500–1000 CFM, 1 hp, upright hand-truck. Novair 2000 (F2100, list $1,325) is 1000–2000 CFM, 15 A. Use the 700 for smaller containment and tight 15 A circuits; use 1000/2000 when ACH math says you need more air.
