Biocide 100 is a ready-to-use quaternary ammonium disinfectant cleaner for restoration and facility work on hard, non-porous surfaces. EPA Reg. No. 1839-83-86117, EPA Est. No. 61524-GA-001. The Germaphobix SKU is a case of four 1-gallon jugs — not a concentrate you mix 1:64; the label and current PDP say apply as RTU, no water added. IICRC mold and water techs use it as the kill step on non-porous contents and hard surfaces after bulk removal, then coat remaining structure with something like mold-resistant coating where a fungistatic film is specified. It is not a substitute for HEPA source removal and it is not a coating. Label active ingredients: two n-alkyl dimethyl benzyl / ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides at 0.105% each (total quat 0.210%), inerts 99.790%. Do I dilute Biocide 100?
No. Current Germaphobix copy and the gallon label: ready-to-use, do not add water. Ignore third-party 1:64 concentrate pages; those conflict with this SKUs label.
Is it EPA registered?
Yes. EPA Reg. No. 1839-83-86117 (distributor number on the BioCide Laboratories label). Registration is for labeled uses on hard, non-porous surfaces. It is not a residual mold-resistant coating.
Can I ship it to California?
Germaphobix: cannot ship to CA and HI. Do not take orders for those states on this SKU.
How does this fit a mold job with a coating and an ATP meter?
Typical sequence (not a protocol): source removal clean/disinfect labeled non-porous surfaces with Biocide 100 per label → dry → optional mold-resistant coating on remaining structure → optional ATP on hard surfaces. Always follow IICRC S520 and the product labels.
