The AlorAir PureAiro HEPA Max 770 is the no-UV Max cabinet for restoration crews who want the newer, slimmer PureAiro housing without paying for a UV-C lamp. IICRC water and mold contractors use it as a portable HEPA scrubber on Category 1 losses, remodel dust, and small containments where 270–550 CFM at 2.5 A is enough. Facility managers keep a pair on a cart for after-hours sanding and carpet tear-out. AlorAir rates the Max 770 at the same 270–550 CFM and 2.5 A as the Max 870 and Pro 870, with the same 14 in intake / 8 in outlet and 25 × 21.7 × 14.2 in footprint as the Max 870. The difference is the lamp: AlorAir’s Max 770 highlights and box list omit UV-C; the 870 and 970 include it. Three-stage filtration is MERV-10 pre-filter plus HEPA/activated carbon. 2.5 A at 115 V/60 Hz. AlorAir markets daisy-chain GFCI duplex on this model. Confirm the outlet rating on the unit nameplate before hanging multiple scrubbers plus dehumidifiers on one 15A circuit.
Filter stages and CFM?
MERV-10 pre-filter plus HEPA/activated carbon. Variable speed 270–550 CFM. Filter-change indicator is listed. Exact HEPA efficiency percent is not on the Max 770 page; check the spec sheet for bid language.
Does the Max 770 include UV-C?
AlorAir’s Max 770 “what’s in the box” lists the unit, 3-stage filter, power cord, and manual — no UV-C lamp. The Max 870 and Max 970 boxes include a UV-C lamp. Do not sell the 770 as a UV-C unit.
How is this different from the Max 870 and Pro 870?
Same advertised CFM and amps as both 870s. Same Max-series size and 14 in intake as the Max 870. You give up UV-C versus the Max 870. Versus the Pro 870 you get the slimmer Max cabinet and round-style Max outlet geometry, still without UV-C.
